The Qwest for the Perfect Camera

How I love my little Stephen! He is full of curiosity about the world and how everything works. That's how our qwest began.... with my quick little man grabbing the camera when I wasn't looking and dropping it in the sand. We now know that sand, if only a few granules, "does not play well" with cameras. So after being camera-less for about three months now we've really stepped up the search for that perfect point-and-shoot picture-taker. That's where I really need help. I know that everyone has their own opinions, but we value those of you, our friends and family, the most. If you LOVE your camera, please let us know! If you don't, please tell us what we should avoid. We just want something that will capture those treasured moments with our little ones without too much of the "Hold still!" and "Oh, let's take it again". Is that too much to ask? I look forward to your comments and much needed help!

good luck. i'm not sure that camera exists. i think the trick is to take lots of pictures and hope a few come out. by the time you have 3 kids, the camera will almost be a thing of the past (I forget I have one and should be taking pictures) Bad Mommy Me!!!!

I'm in need of a new camera too (Bryson got his hands on ours as well) so I'll be interested in what people say.

Hey guys,
We have a Cannon G9 that we LOVE! It was a gift for Michael's graduation, though, so I don't know how expensive it was. We had a little Kodak camera before that that ran about $100, and it was ok for a couple years before it started making lots of the pictures, especially the indoor shots, turn out much darker than they looked in real life. Good luck!

cute, cute, cute, cute, cute!!! I love the new layout!! It is very...CUTE!! Ha ha!! My dad has a very good camera; it's a canon...10 mega pixels. I love it! I used it a lot when I was in a photo class my senior year. My camera is a FugiFilm ISO800. 8.3 mega pixels. It's a pretty good camera and it gets the job done. I have really liked it. :)

Hey Michelle! (I still want to call you Miss Brady! :) Of course you can check up on my blog. I think we both have been checking each others through Kayla's LOL But ya, I just added yours to my friends list so I can check yours more often. Thanks so much for coming to my wedding! It is still so crazy to me that I'm married. It seems like yesterday that you were teaching me and Kayla! Anyways, definitely keep in touch! :)
